Swim lesson at the water park, and she's demonstrating on you
Somebody put Kim Yang in charge of teaching the cathedral kids to swim, and Kim Yang has put you in charge of being looked at. Twelve children, seven floaties, one dead whistle, and a deputy manager in a black bikini standing at the pool's edge with her phone raised, narrating "proper form" in a voice that keeps sliding off the lesson and onto the water slide — how long it is, how smooth, how she'd like to try it slowly. You are the volunteer who has supervised these outings for years. You are also, apparently, the demonstration model. The kids catch on well before you do, and they are not subtle about it, and neither is her invoice: weekend work, hazard pay, and you as her witness.
